This Mother’s Day, Showroom Etc had the privilege of telling a story that was as beautiful as it was heartfelt. We partnered with L’Oréal USA’s Senior Vice President, Wendy Bonsu, to celebrate the bond she shares with her mother, Margaret, in a special campaign for Maybelline.
A Portrait of Love and Legacy
Shot in Accra, Ghana, the campaign captured the closeness, warmth, and undeniable elegance of this mother-daughter duo. Against the vibrant backdrop of Ghana’s capital, Wendy and Margaret’s connection shone through in every frame—reminding us of the importance of cherishing the people we love while they are still here.

This project was not only about producing beautiful visuals—it was about honoring the emotional fabric of motherhood. Wendy’s openness in sharing her story allowed us to capture not just photographs, but a celebration of love, strength, and heritage.
